On February 26, 2026, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Greek Public Procurement Authority (ΕΑΔΗΣΥ) and the Competition Commission (ΕΑ) by their respective presidents, Androniki Theotokatou and Eirini Sharp.

The memorandum aims to further strengthen the already close cooperation between the two independent authorities, particularly in the areas of knowledge exchange, development of joint actions and tools, and coordination on issues related to the enforcement of competition law and public procurement law.

This collaboration seeks to enhance the prevention and detection of practices that distort competitive processes, ensure transparency, and promote the proper functioning of public administration, as well as the effective operation of markets for the benefit of the public interest.

The signing of the memorandum represents a significant step towards institutional partnership between two independent authorities that play a crucial role in ensuring the legality and smooth operation of public contracts and the market.
