The CNMC is investigating E-DISTRIBUCIÓN Redes Digitales, S.L.U., Endesa Operaciones y Servicios Comerciales, S.L.U., and their parent companies for potential abuse of dominant position in the electricity distribution market.

The alleged anticompetitive practices impact territories where the Endesa Group operates as a distributor of electricity.

The investigation focuses on discriminatory treatment towards competitors in resolving requests, complaints, and incidents, particularly related to energy commercialization, equipment installation, energy services, and self-consumption operations.

Following complaints, the CNMC conducted inspections at two Endesa Group locations in June 2023, initiating a process that could last up to 24 months.
