On September 10, 2026, the Slovak competition authority, known as PMÚ, commenced proceedings regarding a concentration involving Madison Air Solutions Corporation from Chicago, USA. This concentration pertains to the acquisition of indirect exclusive control over several companies, including ebm-papst Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KGaA, Elektrobau Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KGaA, ebm-papst Verwaltungs GmbH, and ebm-papst Finanzierungsgesellschaft mbH, all based in Mulfingen, Germany.

The relevant sectors affected by this merger include wholesale of other machinery and equipment, as well as the manufacturing of electrical household appliances. The PMÚ has opened the floor for third parties, including individuals and legal entities, to submit their comments, objections, and information regarding the announced concentration.
