The Trade Inspection Authority conducted inspections on 165 batches of various products to check for harmful substances, finding irregularities in 7% of the products, including exercise balls, mats, jump ropes, dumbbells, and bedding.

The Trade Inspection Authority in Poland recently carried out inspections on 165 batches of products such as bedding, clothing, footwear, haberdashery, sewing accessories, and exercise equipment. The aim was to verify the presence of substances like formaldehyde, phthalates, nickel, cadmium, and lead within permissible limits.

Out of the products inspected, 7% were found to have irregularities. The most concerning findings included exercise equipment like dumbbells exceeding phthalate limits 320 times and bedding with formaldehyde levels exceeding standards 8 times.
