CCA experts from Croatia attended a workshop in Warsaw focusing on unfair trade practices in the food supply chain and antitrust law.

Marijana Mutavdžić and Tajana Blagojević, experts from the Croatian Competition Agency, took part in a workshop on unfair trade practices and antitrust in Warsaw. The event, organized by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, aimed to support Moldova and Ukraine in developing their competition regimes.

The workshop spanned three days, with the first two days dedicated to discussions on unfair trading practices in the food supply chain. Topics included the legal regulation of such practices, implementation of EU directives, investigations, and costs in the food supply chain. The third day focused on antitrust law, exploring settlement versus leniency programs and the use of market investigations.

Mutavdžić discussed the regulation of unfair trading practices in Croatia, while Blagojević highlighted the importance of evidence in building strong cases during panel discussions. The workshop aimed to enhance understanding and cooperation in tackling unfair trade practices and enforcing competition law.
