The AdC has identified the need to equip itself with advanced computer forensics tools to effectively investigate anti-competitive practices in the digital era. The focus on digitalization and artificial intelligence reflects the impact of these technologies on competition and the economy. The AdC will also prioritize strengthening international cooperation and enforcing European legislation such as the Digital Markets Regulation. Additionally, the AdC will continue to investigate and sanction abuses of dominant positions and scrutinize mergers, particularly cases of failure to notify or comply with non-opposition decisions. The organization will also launch outreach initiatives to raise awareness and promote competition in local business communities and labor markets.
