On April 3, 2026, the Greek competition authority unanimously approved the acquisition of exclusive control by Diamantis Masoutis SA over Afoi Kontzoglou-Diktio Dianomoon SA, under Article 8, paragraph 3 of Law 3959/2011.

This merger pertains to the wholesale and retail sale of supermarket items and logistics services. The authority concluded that the merger does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the relevant markets.

Market share assessments before and after the merger indicated no significant changes in competitive conditions or the market position of Masoutis. The merger does not create affected markets at the vertical level, nor are there diagonal effects, and the horizontal increase in market share is negligible.

An official document for media use, this announcement does not bind the competition authority. The full text of the decision will be published in the Government Gazette and on the competition authority's website www.epant.gr.
