FIRMA MADARA 89 operates in the retail sector, specifically in non-specialized stores that primarily sell everyday consumer goods. The company utilizes brands such as top!, mini top!, and LABAIS in its stores.

Prior to this merger, the retail of everyday consumer goods at the specified location was conducted by SIA “SKAI BALTIJA” under the brand Sky until March 2026. The merger is expected to impact the market for everyday consumer goods procurement in Latvia, as well as the retail market for these goods within a 13-minute driving distance from the specified address.

FIRMA MADARA 89 plans to open a store at the Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve 122 location under the top! brand. The KP is required to make a decision regarding the merger's approval, prohibition, or conditional approval within one month of receiving the notification. If a more in-depth investigation is necessary, this period may be extended to three months.
