Le 27 février, l’Autorité de la concurrence, représentée par son Président Pierre Barthelmé, son Vice-Président Marco Estanqueiro et son Conseiller effectif Sven Frisch, participait à la conférence "Generative AI and Competition: exploring the buzz" organisée par l’Association Luxembourgeoise pour l’Etude du Droit de la Concurrence (ALEDC) en collaboration avec la Chambre de Commerce. 


Lors de cette conférence, Charlotte Emin, référendaire au Tribunal de l'Union européenne, explorait les raisons pour lesquelles les autorités de concurrence suivent de près le développement des solutions utilisant l’intelligence artificielle (IA), en soulignant leur impact potentiel sur les accords commerciaux et les regroupements d'entreprises existants et futurs dans ce domaine.

On February 27, the Luxembourg competition authority, represented by President Pierre Barthelmé, Vice-President Marco Estanqueiro, and Advisor Sven Frisch, attended a conference titled 'Generative AI and Competition: exploring the buzz.' This event was organized by the Luxembourg Association for the Study of Competition Law in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce.

 During the conference, Charlotte Emin, a legal advisor at the European Court of Justice, discussed why competition authorities are closely monitoring the development of artificial intelligence solutions. She emphasized the potential impact of these technologies on existing and future business agreements and mergers in the sector.
