Monika Ražukaitė Joins Lithuanian Competition Council
Monika Ražukaitė has officially begun her term as a member of the Lithuanian Competition Council, appointed for a six-year tenure.

Monika Ražukaitė has taken up her position as a member of the Lithuanian Competition Council, following her appointment by President Gitanas Nausėda. Her term will last for six years, in accordance with the Constitution and the Law on Competition.
Ražukaitė brings a wealth of legal experience from both public and private sectors. She previously served as a chief expert at the Vilnius Regional Environmental Protection Department and the Legal Department of the Vilnius City Municipality Administration, where she represented public interests in various legal cases.
Before joining the Competition Council, she worked as an attorney-at-law for six years, focusing on competition law and related legal matters. She was employed at the international law firm Eversheds Saladžius and later at Sorainen as a Senior Associate in the Competition and Regulated Industries team.
Ražukaitė holds a Master’s degree in Law from Vilnius University and has also studied at Ghent University in Belgium. She expressed her enthusiasm for joining the Competition Council and her commitment to contributing to its mission of ensuring fair competition.
The current members of the Competition Council include Chairwoman Jolanta Ivanauskienė and members Žilvinas Klimka, Karina Kučaidze-Wencel, Monika Ražukaitė, and Irma Urmonaitė, all appointed for six-year terms.
